From the makers of Japfest, comes Japfest 2: The Evolution, a brand new event for the 2010 calendar, which comes to Rockingham Motor Speedway on Sunday 15th August with some of the most extreme Japanese performance cars in attendance.

Taking place at Europe’s fastest racing circuit Japfest 2: The Evolution is a celebration of the most radical Japanese tuned cars, with world-class drifting action, extreme car displays, track action on the International circuit, a 0-60mph sprint test, a live action area and club displays.

The drifting area will see some of the finest drift cars and drivers in action, with one-on-one battles, teams and individuals all showing off their skills and talents on the track. There will also be the opportunity for event-goers to take part in high-speed passenger rides in these amazing cars.

Japanese car fans can put themselves to the test on Europe’s fastest circuit, with track sessions available throughout the day for all levels of driver. The 0-60 sprint test will also allow event-goers to test their cars against the most powerful performance Japanese cars, with times measured using state-of-the-art timing equipment.

There will also be displays from some of the most extreme Japanese cars on earth, ranging from Prodrive WRC Imprezas, to the fastest tuned road cars, as well as over 1000 Japanese performance cars from the best car clubs in the country.  There will also be a hall of fame with some of the most famous icons of the Japanese car scene, from Skylines to the R35 GT-R!

Event-goers looking for a bargain will be able to find those all-important car parts in the massive retail and tuner village, which will also feature an autojumble area. The trade area will be packed with leading industry names such as Maxxis, Millltek, TSW, Pioneer, STP, KW and Meguiars, as well the 2010 Auto Event Series partner, Adrian Flux.
